Missions

Spreading a passion for the glory of God

Declaring His Glory Among the Nations

Here a biblical description of missions:

Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
Isaiah 6:8 (NASB)

How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard?
And how will they hear without a preacher?
How will they preach unless they are sent?
Just as it is written,
“HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!”
Romans 10:14-15 (NASB)

The Goers, the Senders, and the Disobedient

We function under the biblical conviction that when it comes to missions, there are only three kinds of Christians: the goers, the senders, and the disobedient. Which will you be? Join us and explore what part God would have you play in the area of missions.

Missions Exists Because Worship Doesn’t

The reason man was created in the beginning and the reason the church is being recreated in the end is for the worship of God. Missions therefore is neither God’s primary end nor the primary end of the church. It is a means to the primary end of worship. Missions exists because worship doesn’t. There will be no missions in the age to come. Worship will be our life. Missions is not our ultimate goal. It is a means to our goal. – John Piper, Desiring God
