Cell Phones for Missions

Wycliffe Bible Translators is working to reach over 2000 language groups who still do not have the bible in a language they cannot read or understand. Your old cell phone can help Wycliffe reach people for Christ by providing needed funds for field projects. Phones will be refurbished and resold by Integrity, Inc. Bring your old cell phone and charger in a plastic baggie and deposit them in the box in the narthex.

Sanctity of Human Life

Sunday, January 24 was National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. At this time of year, many of us are motivated to make a difference: to save a life, to heal a hurt, to strengthen a family. You can help save lives in 2010! Options for Women, your local Pregnancy Center, encourages you to help make a difference in the life of a woman facing an unplanned pregnancy or abortion. Please bring your Baby Bottle Banks to church this Sunday, filled or not. Thank you for your support. For more info on Options for Women, please visit their web site at: http://www.friends-ofw.com/

Peacemaking Seminar

How do you respond to conflict? Do you avoid the situation? Do you pretend the conflict doesn't exist? Do you create more conflict when attempting to make peace?

Attend the Personal Peacemaking Seminary and learn how to address conflict in a Christ-like manner. This seminary will introduce you to the book: The Peacemaker: A Biblical Guide to Resolving Conflict by Ken Sande.

You will learn principles of reconciliation based on Scripture that applies to all relationships (home, school, church, work, and neighborhood) and to all conflicts (small personal conflicts or large disagreements).

For more information, visit: http://www.cpcdanville.org/Ministries/peacemakers.htm
