Community Groups

Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we have been reconciled to God and each other and we have been freed to build community on the foundation of Jesus Christ without bias or prejudice. In our community groups, we seek to share life together, encourage one another, and serve our city in love by the power of the Holy Spirit.

“Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so.” Acts 17:11 (NASB)

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Community Group Times

Once a month

• Oakley Dinner Community Group (Froisland home)
• Meets once a month (date and time change each month)
• All are welcome but, please let Julie know if you plan to attend.
• Men’s Breakfast Group (at GBF)
• Meets once a month (date and time may change each month)
• All men are welcome to attend
• Please RSVP to Daniel Froisland one week prior to meeting

Every Other Week

Friday

• 6:00 – 7:00 pm every other Friday – Ladies’ Community Group (pastoral office at GBF)
• Meets to discuss the Sunday sermon and to fellowship and encourage one another
• First meeting is Friday, August 14, 2026. Meets in the pastoral office at the church

Tuesday

• 8:00 pm Tuesdays – Young Adult Community Group (Wes and Jennelle Wade’s home)

Friday

• 7:00 – 9:00 pm Fridays – Brentwood Community Group (Michael and Kati Brazil’s home)
  • This group will meet on Friday, August 28 to talk about the purpose of the group
  • It will begin meeting regularly on Fridays on 9/11
